Kevin and Joyce Anderson

About

Kevin Zweyer Anderson founded Anderson Galleries in 1998 to bring museum-quality 19th Century, Impressionist, and Modern art to collectors in Los Angeles and beyond. With over 35 years of experience in the art world, Kevin is known for his expertise, integrity, and longstanding relationships with collectors, institutions, and dealers around the globe.

He began his career in 1985 at the distinguished Hammer Galleries in New York City, first in the fine print division and later as a director in the European and American paintings department. During his time there, he placed significant works by major Impressionist and Modern artists into both private and public collections worldwide, organized benefit exhibitions, and contributed to gallery publications.

In 1993, Kevin returned to Los Angeles, serving as director and curator for two respected Beverly Hills galleries before launching Anderson Galleries. Over the next two decades, the gallery operated a public space in Beverly Hills, presenting important exhibitions and participating in international art fairs.

Anderson Galleries is a member of the Art and Antique Dealers League of America and the Confédération Internationale des Négociants en Œuvres d’Art (CINOA). Kevin is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America, offering clients objective, well-documented valuations for insurance, estate, donation, and resale purposes.

Kevin works with his wife and partner of forty years Joyce Levin Anderson. They have three children, Ian, Sara and Darci.
