About

Kevin Zweyer Anderson has been a respected member of the art trade since 1985, beginning his career at Hammer Galleries in New York City. He served as Director of Hammer Graphics for three years before joining the European and American paintings department. He returned to his native Los Angeles in 1992 and held director and curatorial positions at two Los Angeles galleries until 1997. He established Anderson Galleries in 1998 and operated a public gallery on Bedford Drive in Beverly Hills for the next 20 years. Anderson has written, lectured and organized numerous exhibitions on 19th and 20th Century European artists.

Anderson Galleries is a member of The Art and Antique Dealers League of America and the Confederation Internationale des Negociants en Oeuvres D’Art (CINOA). Kevin Zweyer Anderson is a Certified Member of the Appraisers Association of America and served on its Board of Directors from 2015 to 2021. Getty Research Institute Reader 2010-23.

Kevin works with Joyce Levin Anderson, his wife and partner in Anderson Galleries. They have three children, Ian, Sarah and Darci.
